We paired our original buckwheat cake with another super seed - quinoa. Why have one when you can have two? Like buckwheat, quinoa has an excellent amino acid profile, containing all nine essential amino acids.
Buckwheat Cakes and Kale Salad
Enjoy our delicious lunch or dinner recipe!
Salad ingredients:
- Choose your buckwheat cake variation (buckwheat, buckwheat & quinoa, or buckwheat & millet)
- Chopped kale salad
- Your choice of protein (chicken, feta, or tofu)
- A bit of cottage cheese
- Roasted sunflower seeds
Dressing:
- Mix maple syrup, garam masala, vinegar, lime, salt and pepper
Mix all the ingredients of the salad, crumble some buckwheat cakes on the top and mix in the dressing. Enjoy! :)
