Just 2 Ingredients: Quinoa & Bucky B

We paired our original buckwheat cake with another super seed - quinoa. Why have one when you can have two? Like buckwheat, quinoa has an excellent amino acid profile, containing all nine essential amino acids.

Frequently Asked Questions

Buckwheat is often mistaken for a grain, but it’s actually a seed from a plant in the Polygonaceae family. Unlike typical grains like wheat or oats, buckwheat is gluten-free and not related to wheat or other cereal grains. It’s considered a pseudocereal because its seeds are used in a similar way to grains, but it grows in a way that’s more similar to leafy vegetables.

Buckwheat seeds are small, triangular, and rich in nutrients like protein, fiber, and antioxidants, making them a great addition to any diet. While buckwheat is a seed, it’s often referred to as a "grain" because of its culinary uses, such as in flour or as a base for our delicious buckwheat cakes.

Our Buckwheat & Quinoa cakes are made with just two organic ingredients: organic buckwheat and organic quinoa. Using a proprietary process, we ensure the ingredients naturally stick together, creating sturdy and delicious cakes without any additives or preservatives. This simple, organic recipe lets you enjoy the pure, wholesome goodness of two nutrient-packed ingredients.

Each bag of our buckwheat cakes contains approximately 12-14 individual cakes, depending on the thickness. This allows you to enjoy a generous portion of our delicious, organic buckwheat cakes in every pack.
